6. Health Information and HIPAA Compliance

To the extent we receive, create, maintain, or transmit protected health information (“PHI”) on behalf of a HIPAA-covered health plan, we function as a Business Associate under HIPAA. Our obligations with respect to PHI are governed by the terms of our Business Associate Agreements with the applicable covered entities. We use and disclose PHI only as permitted or required by those agreements, HIPAA, and applicable state law.

7.1 California Residents

If you are a California resident, you may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CPRA”), to the extent your personal information is not otherwise subject to the Insurance Information and Privacy Protection Act (California Insurance Code §§ 791–791.27). Where the CCPA applies, you have the right to know, access, correct, and delete your personal information, and to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. 8. Cookies and Online Tracking

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies for session management, analytics, and functionality. You may control cookies through your browser settings or by declining non-essential cookies when prompted. We honor recognized opt-out preference signals, including the Global Privacy Control (“GPC”), as required by applicable law.

We do not respond to generic “Do Not Track” browser signals, as no uniform standard for compliance currently exists. However, where a state law requires us to honor such signals, we will comply.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, comply with legal and regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
